Joseph W. Younger was in Caldwell County, Missouri, in 1838.

He obtained two government land patents in Caldwell Co., MO, in 1838: 80 acres on 28 July 1838, and 40 acres on 7 Sep 1838.

He is on the list of Mormon prisoners at List of Mormon Prisoners p. 290 (Nov 1838).

He later married Katharine (Catherine) SMITH, sister of the prophet Joseph Smith, in 1857 in Illinois, but the marriage didn't last long.
