The 2006 National Romig Reunion was held at the Branson Towers in Branson, Missouri on June 22, 23, & 24. Besides attending the Reunion, many attended different shows, dined out, & visited the new mall on the waters of Lake Tanneycomo. Saturday was spent looking at Romig History. Some cousins met close cousins for the first time. Snacks & drinks were furnished during the three days.
A wonderful meal, with the choice of three entrees, was served on Saturday evening at the banquet. After the banquet, picture taking was the next session of business. After picture taking, there was a meeting conducted by the host chairman, Jerry Romig. Many things were brought up and discussed. Since no one presented a place to hold the 2008 National Romig Reunion, it was suggested that Jerry Romig look for a place in the Kansas City or Wichita areas. The 2006 National Romig Reunion adjourned until the year of 2008.
