Exposed rock shoals, narrow spot, just downstream from the high bank of yellow clay, traditional dam location per account of Andrew Jenson.
During September 2002, the water level in Shoal Creek was extremely low. The deepest depth was about 18 inches and the width was about 20 feet. The creek could be easily crossed at several points due to the presence of many exposed logs and occasional log jams.
