Time has completely obscured the actual locations of the well, blacksmith shop, mill and other notable features of the former hamlet. Though these locations are now uncertain, a variety of historical sources suggest some strong possibilities about the community layout. These sites are shown on the map below. Suggested site locations are extrapolated in large part from Andrew Jenson's detailed notes describing his 1888 visit to Haun's Mill.
